Possessing a good golf swing is tantamount for playing good golf. Ignoring your swing will crush your game and you’ll be all washed up before you start. Distance is determined by the golf swing speed along with a few other mechanics involved in the swing such as balance and form. While not every golfer that hits the long ball is overly large, the impact they can place on the ball is huge. Club head speed is directly related to distance.
What inhibits swing speed for most golfers? Most golfers grip the club too tightly resulting in less lag and slower club speed. In addition, incorrect swing technique and form contributes to slower swing speed.
Increasing your swing speed and you increase your distance. It does not matter how old you are or what your current skill level, increasing the power outputs of the body will enhance club head speed. Power outputs of the body can be improved through golf fitness exercises and proper technique.
