The thought of cheating the way they are is too much for Ball. After beating then number 1 Indiana, Pete goes to the press conference and tells the whole world what he and his university are doing, and then he resigns.
King Ralph: The entire royal family has been killed in a freak accident. Now the question is who will be the next King of England. The next in line turns out to be Ralph Jones, an American, through and through. Can the English handle a King like Ralph?
Indochine: Soap opera set contrary to partisan commotion in French Indochina throughout the 1930s. Deneuve plays a prosperous French landowner who’s brought up an orphaned Indochinese gal, and now should deal with the truth that she’s grown-and has a mind of her own. Fascinating historical factors set contrary to a captivating landscape, although tale is mainly tripe. Cast includes Catherine Deneuve, Vincent Perez, Linh Dan Pham, Jean Yanne, Dominique Blanc, Henri Marteau, Carlo Brandt, and Gerard Lartigau. (155 minutes, 1992)
Lilith: (1964) 114Somewhat loyal rendition of debatable J. R. Salamanca novel in regards to a novice therapist who falls in love with a bothered subject. Lilith is an investigating, if not completely pleasing, look at the numerous aspects of madness and love. This would be director-author Rossen’s last film. He litters the jungle with cameras, plans some diversions, and throws the actors in the jungle on their own to fend for themselves. They think it’s only a movie, but soon the bullets coming at the actors are real.
Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd: This is a zany pirate parody with a lot of goofy songs. Not one of Abbott and Costello’s best efforts. Lou Costello, Bud Abbott, Hillary Brooke, Fran Warren, Bill Shirley, Leif Erickson. (1952 Comedy)
Saw Two: Sadistic continuation finds fiendish mastermind “Jigsaw” keeping a group of “outsiders” prisoner in a spooky, booby-snared home. Lots of gore for fans, as the sufferers race the watch when a fatal fuel fi1ls their lungs. Wahlberg is the steel cop on the case, although could he match brains with this twirled madman? Cast includes Darren Lynn Bousman, Donnie Wahlberg, Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, Frank G. Glenn Plummer, Dina Meyer, Emmanuel Vaugier, Beverley Mitchel, Erik Knudsen, and Tim Burd. (102 minutes, 1966)
